Do you want to learn something about me?

My name is Christian Kietzmann. I was born in 1977 and grew up in Ritterhude near Bremen. After attending a specialised secondary school for design and then obtaining my vocational diploma in 2002, I started studying design at Münster University of Applied Sciences. My original career aspiration was to focus on illustrations and to design children’s books. However, in the course of my studies, I mainly discovered ambitions for screen design and thus started to acquire various skills in programming, too. That way, I wanted to enable myself to realise my own ideas in order to be as independent as possible from external programmers.
After extensive travelling through my favorite country, Finland, I designed and programmed an interactive multimedia CD-Rom about Finland for my diploma thesis in the field of media design. This allowed me to make a much longed-for dream come true. I have been a graduated designer since the summer of 2009.
Since long ago I have not been able to imagine anything better than working as a freelance graphic designer. Therefore, I am now trying step by step to get the ball rolling to become professionally self-employed.
